Nolan Smock (b.1984) is an interdisciplinary artist working with photography, archives, technology, performance, video, sound, and music.
Nolan’s visual art and music have been commissioned privately and commercially, and licensed by Atlantic Records, VSCO, and MTV.
He has also worked in archival, digitization, and educational roles for Alec Soth, William Peace University, Johnston County Community College, North Carolina Museum of Art, and the North Carolina Museum of History.
Nolan runs a tiny record shop, Nowhere Music, and records and performs music under various aliases.
